Terms of Service

Last updated June 3, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Slotboard, a trip-planning service for building, importing, organizing, and sharing travel itineraries. By creating an account, accessing the service, or using any Slotboard feature, you agree to these terms.

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms are between you and Slotboard. “Slotboard,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the provider of the Slotboard service. “You” means the person or organization that creates an account, uses the service, or accesses a trip shared through Slotboard.

If you use Slotboard on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use Slotboard.

2. What Slotboard does

Slotboard helps users plan trips by creating trips, destinations, and itinerary slots for flights, trains, buses, lodging, rental cars, reservations, and things to do. The service may let you upload itinerary files or confirmation images, extract travel details, search for flight details, assign time zones, and invite other Slotboard users to view or edit a trip.

Slotboard is an organization and planning tool. It is not a travel agency, airline, hotel, rental car company, restaurant, activity operator, insurance provider, emergency service, or booking platform. Slotboard does not issue tickets, make reservations, guarantee availability, operate transportation, or control the performance of any travel provider.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, and be able to form a binding contract. You may not use Slotboard if applicable law bars you from doing so or if we previously suspended or terminated your access for violating these terms.

4. Accounts and security

Most Slotboard features require an account. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, maintain control of your email address, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account, including edits to trips, invitations sent to collaborators, uploaded files, and imported itinerary data. We may use third-party authentication providers to help operate account creation, sign-in, session management, and account security.

5. Your content

“Your content” means information you submit to Slotboard, including trip names, dates, destinations, notes, itinerary slots, transportation details, lodging details, reservation details, confirmation numbers, uploaded PDFs or images, profile information, and collaborator invitations.

You keep ownership of your content. You grant Slotboard a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, and create technical transformations of your content solely as needed to provide, secure, maintain, improve, and support the service. This includes showing your content to collaborators you invite or trips you otherwise choose to share.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit your content to Slotboard and to grant the license above. You are responsible for reviewing imported data before relying on it.

6. Imported files and AI features

Slotboard may let you upload travel documents, booking confirmations, PDFs, screenshots, or images so that the service can extract structured itinerary details. These features may use automated processing and artificial intelligence services.

AI and extraction features can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or misread travel details. You must review all imported data, including dates, times, terminals, gates, locations, time zones, confirmation numbers, costs, cancellation details, and provider policies, against the original source and the travel provider's official records. Slotboard is not responsible for missed travel, incorrect itinerary details, or losses caused by relying on extracted or suggested information.

Do not upload documents that contain information you are not allowed to share, information about other people without appropriate permission, unlawful material, malware, or highly sensitive information that is not needed to plan your trip.

7. Flight data, maps, and third-party information

Slotboard may retrieve flight details, location details, geographic coordinates, time zone information, carrier names, airport names, or other travel-related information from third-party data sources. That information is provided for convenience only and may be delayed, inaccurate, unavailable, or different from the information maintained by the relevant airline, airport, train operator, bus operator, hotel, rental car provider, restaurant, or activity provider.

You are responsible for confirming all travel information with the official provider before making plans, departing, checking in, cancelling, changing a reservation, or incurring costs.

8. Sharing and collaboration

Slotboard may let you invite other users by email and assign viewer or editor access to a trip. You are responsible for choosing the right collaborators, assigning appropriate access, and removing access when it is no longer needed.

Editors may be able to add, change, reorder, import, or delete trip information. Viewers may be able to see trip information, including personal travel details. We are not responsible for a collaborator using or disclosing information that you chose to share with them.

9. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • use Slotboard for unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or abusive activity;
  • upload malware, exploit code, spam, or content that infringes another person's rights;
  • attempt to access accounts, trips, systems, or data that you are not authorized to access;
  • interfere with, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass security or rate limits for the service;
  • misrepresent your identity, affiliation, travel authority, or relationship to another person;
  • use Slotboard to track, harass, dox, or endanger another person;
  • submit payment, booking, passport, health, or identity information unless it is necessary for your own trip planning and you are authorized to submit it;
  • use automated systems to create accounts or extract data except through interfaces we expressly permit; or
  • use Slotboard in a way that could expose us, our users, or our service providers to liability or security risk.

10. Third-party services

Slotboard depends on third-party services for functions such as authentication, hosting, storage, databases, email delivery, flight data, location lookup, artificial intelligence processing, analytics, error monitoring, and payment processing if paid plans are offered. Your use of third-party services, websites, travel providers, or links outside Slotboard may be governed by their own terms and policies.

We do not control third-party travel providers and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, policies, cancellations, delays, safety, refunds, or performance.

11. Plans, payments, and taxes

Slotboard may offer free features, paid subscriptions, trials, add-ons, usage-based features, or other paid plans. If you purchase a paid feature, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for applicable fees, taxes, renewals, and other charges described at the time of purchase.

Paid plans may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase. We may change prices or plan features in the future, but we will use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice when required.

12. Service changes and availability

We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of Slotboard at any time. We work to keep the service useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage, error-free operation, or compatibility with every browser, device, file, image, PDF, travel document, or third-party service.

We may perform maintenance, respond to security issues, comply with legal obligations, or limit use that creates risk for the service or other users.

13. Beta and experimental features

Some Slotboard features may be marked or treated as beta, experimental, preview, or in development. These features may be less reliable, may change without notice, may produce incomplete results, and may be removed at any time. You should not rely on beta or experimental features for critical travel decisions.

14. Intellectual property

Slotboard and its software, design, logos, text, graphics, interfaces, workflows, and other materials are owned by Slotboard or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms, we do not grant you any rights in Slotboard intellectual property.

You may submit feedback, ideas, or suggestions. We may use feedback without restriction or obligation to you, but we will not treat your private trip content as public feedback.

15. Termination and suspension

You may stop using Slotboard at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, remove content, restrict features, or block access if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created security or legal risk, infringed another person's rights, failed to pay fees, or used the service in a way that could harm Slotboard, other users, or third parties.

After termination, your right to use Slotboard ends immediately. We may retain certain information as described in our Privacy Policy or as required for legal, security, accounting, backup, or legitimate business purposes.

16. Disclaimers

Slotboard is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

We do not warrant that Slotboard will be secure, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components, or that itinerary data, imported data, AI outputs, flight data, location data, time zones, or other travel details will be accurate or complete.

17. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slotboard and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, travel losses, missed flights, missed reservations, cancellation fees, substitute travel costs, business interruption, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of those damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Slotboard or these terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Slotboard for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or 100 USD.

18. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Slotboard and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, service providers, and licensors from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your content, your use of Slotboard, your violation of these terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's rights.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Slotboard is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires a different result. Any dispute will be handled by a court or tribunal with proper jurisdiction unless the parties agree to another lawful process.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the dispute informally. We will do the same where practical. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you, such as by posting the updated terms, changing the “Last updated” date, or sending notice through the service or by email. Your continued use of Slotboard after the updated terms become effective means you accept the changes.
